Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you based? How do you spend your days?

Hi! I’m Loredana — a Freelance Fashion Stylist based in NJ/NYC. I lived in NYC for over 25 years before trading in the city for a slower pace in a little beach town called Highlands, NJ. I’m right by Sandy Hook National Park and just a ferry ride from Manhattan — basically, I get the best of both worlds.

These days, no two days look the same. I freelance for a mix of fashion brands, and recently I took on one of my proudest personal projects yet — renovating a two-family home and turning the first floor into an Airbnb. I decorated everything with secondhand vintage finds (no new pieces!) and it truly sparked something in me. I’ve always loved fashion, but styling interiors with vintage treasures has become a whole new creative love. If you’re curious, you can peek at it here.

How did you hear about Noihsaf Bazaar / when did you become part of the community?

I first found Noihsaf through Instagram — and immediately thought, yep, this is my vibe. It felt like such a refreshing, independent corner of the internet — different from the usual reselling spaces. Every time I see a piece of mine featured I get such a jolt of excitement.

What’s your favorite Noihsaf score?

Confession: I haven’t actually purchased anything yet! But in my defense, I shop for a living — mostly for clients or my vintage business. When you spend your days sourcing, the last thing you want to do is buy more. After the house renovations I’m on a spending detox.

How would you describe your personal style? Any go-to inspirations?

My every day go-to aesthetic is “cozy eclectic grandpa.” Give me an oversized knit sweater, paired with a quirky vintage piece and I’m happy. Comfort is everything — I love everything oversized which is comical because I’m only 5’0 tall. Let’s just say the Olsen twins are my style icons.

Any designers or brands you’re loving right now?

I’m not into any one designer but I’m a sucker for a vintage coat., they’re my weakness. I’ve collected… let’s just say a lot. I can’t resist a good coat — the buttons, the structure. It’s borderline a problem at this point.

What trends are you loving (or hoping to see more of)?

I love that vintage has become mainstream! I used to thrift as a teenager because I was broke, and people thought it was weird.and gross. Now everyone’s doing it — and I couldn’t be happier. What started out of necessity turned into a lifestyle and a business. Hopefully, it’s not just a trend — it’s here to stay.

Favorite song to get dressed to?

I need something with energy or I’ll end up canceling my plans and staying home. I’m such a homebody, I need a musical pep talk to get out the door. Robyn's “Dancing on my own” always does the trick.
