Our commitment
Noihsaf Bazaar wants everyone to be able to buy and sell secondhand fashion on noihsafbazaar.com, including people who use assistive technology. We are a small, independent marketplace, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished checkbox.
This statement covers noihsafbazaar.com: browsing, searching, listing items, messaging, and checkout.
The standard we work toward
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines describe how to make web content usable for people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
noihsafbazaar.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. That means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We list the gaps we know about below.
What we do
- Build pages with semantic HTML, headings, and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
- Make the site usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Label form fields and show errors in text, not only by color.
- Support browser zoom and text resizing without breaking layouts.
- Prompt sellers to describe their items in words, so listings aren't photo-only.
- Test new features with automated checks and manual keyboard and screen reader testing.
Known limitations
- Seller-uploaded content. Listings are created by individual sellers. Some photos may lack useful text descriptions, and item details vary in quality. If a listing isn't clear to you, message the seller or contact us and we'll help.
- Third-party services. Payments are handled by Stripe, and some features rely on other providers. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we don't control their interfaces.
- Older pages. Some older pages and emails have not yet been fully reviewed. We are working through them as we update the site.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on noihsafbazaar.com is hard to use, please email [email protected]. Let us know the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use, if you're comfortable sharing it.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. If you can't complete a purchase or listing because of an accessibility barrier, we'll work with you to finish it another way, such as by email.
