Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you based? How do you spend your days?

Hi! I'm Sara --- an artist based in Denver, CO. When I'm not working corporate by day, I spend my free time thrifting vintage clothing and furniture, taking walks around Cheesman Park, and photographing cool buildings I see throughout the city and my travels. I'm also an avid cook, reader, and ADHD-fueled rabbit hole enthusiast.

How did you hear about Noihsaf Bazaar / when did you become a part of the community?

My old roommate in Bed-Stuy circa 2015 introduced me to the Instagram account (shoutout @heidiwranglescats, she's a TNR legend in the NYC cat community). My life has never been the same since. I remember the thrill of being the first to comment on a post in order to snag a piece, and it's beautiful to see what the community has blossomed into. I'm also incredibly passionate about secondhand clothing and sustainability, and feel lucky to be a part of a group that has the same values (and lots of pretty, shiny things).

What is your favorite Noihsaf score?

That's a REALLY tough ask, but I'd have to say one of my very first purchases---these 1980's inspired balloon jeans that I still squeeze into ten years later! The pleats are to die for. I love one of a kind pieces and I'll be keeping those until my fabulous end-of-life estate sale for some lucky young thing to acquire.

How would you describe your personal style? Do you have any style inspirations that you return to?

My personal style is always changing, but currently it's full of lots of colors and layers. I particularly love oversized pieces with fun shapes, but most importantly, I don't want to see anyone else wearing what I'm wearing. My friends will say, "Where can I wear this?", to which I say, "Anywhere. The grocery store. The car wash. A birthday party." Stepping outside the house is an excuse to get dressed up. My favorite kinds of styles are those that scream individuality -- even if I wouldn't wear a particular piece, I love seeing people express themselves through clothing and accessories. I'm inspired by those who lean into dressing outside of what's trending.

Do you have any designers/brands that you’re especially into these days?

Absolutely--I really love Kowtow's pants, their different shapes are so fun. Also coveting Labucq's Janis Boot in black---saw a pair on the feed the other week but sadly they weren't my size.

What trend are you currently loving, or what trend would you like to see?

Individuality, baby! Dress however makes you happy. I love using Noihsaf as my Pinterest board because it shows me special pieces which a) introduce me to new designers, and b) inspire me to design new outfits for myself. I would love to see the continued de-escalation of fast fashion as a trend.
