Vintage 40s Silver Cicada Brooch Mexico

Really fun cicada brooch from the 1930s-1940s. Made in Taxco de Alarcón, Mexico w/ 980 silver. Stamped "Taxco 980." Mandibles at top are made from a jump ring, so could be used as a pendant too, though there is a tiny gap in the ring. Patina adds character but could be polished.
