Noihsaf Bazaar will be closed January 30th to participate in the nation statewide economic blackout. We stand in solidarity with our fellow Minnesotans and immigrant communities, and to make clear our opposition to ICE. You can still browse, but the checkout will be disabled until the 31st.

As most of you know Noihsaf Bazaar is based in Minnesota. By now you’ve seen the news and videos showing the 2,000 + ICE members who have taken over our state; primarily in Minneapolis, but each day their circle is expanding. It’s just as bad as it looks – a woman has been murdered, peaceful protesters are being silenced by inhuman tactics, children are being harmed and separated from their families. Schools, daycares, and many businesses are being forced to close to protect their workers. If you are non-white looking, you are at serious risk of being stopped by ICE, and worse, unlawfully detained and held. Trump is threatening to send more troops and initiate the Insurrection Act despite our local government officials wanting ICE to leave. Minnesota is plainly and simply being attacked by our current administration. We are being targeted for diversity, political differences, and our democracy.
Despite the darkness that has filled our streets, Minnesotans have rallied to support their neighbors in need. Collecting groceries, delivering food, keeping watch, and protesting day in and day out despite temps reaching in the negatives. If you are reading this, please consider donating to the many organizations who have stepped up to the plate to help our neighbors in need.
